Search Warrant Leads To Drug Arrest

On April 24, at approximately 8:45 p.m., officers from the Council Grove Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Main St., Council Grove. Morris County Sheriff’s Office deployed K9 Kimber to conduct a free air sniff on the vehicle during the stop. After a positive alert, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Tiffany Karre, Council Grove, was arrested as a result of the stop. A search warrant was subsequently conducted at 28 North Neosho St. in Council Grove. Ms. Karre was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked into the Morris County Jail.
CGHS Men’s Track Wins At Silver Lake; Women Place 2

nd The Council Grove High School track team won the Varsity and Junior Varsity Men’s divisions Tuesday night at Silver Lake. The Varsity Women’s team also earned second place and the Junior Varsity Women’s group placed 5th.
