JV Golf Squad Earns Second, Third Places
Council Grove High School JV golf squad took to the course in Topeka on Monday and at home Tuesday. Coach Bruce Hula said, “Golfers have been getting better each time they go out. I’m proud of their collective and individual efforts.”
Lady Braves Varsity Loses Pair Of Games
Council Grove High School Lady Braves lost the lead late in an 8-3 defeat to Chapman in game one on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with Chapman batting in the top of the sixth when T Ellis singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Former CGHS Student Is Killed In Crash Tuesday
ELMO -- A Central Kansas highway has reopened following an early- morning fatality crash as crews continue to clear the scene. The Kansas Highway Patrol says that just before 7:30 a.m. officials closed K-15 Highway at 700 Ave. in Dickinson Co. due to a significant collision.
