GRAND MARSHALS -- Bruce and Alona Hedstrom were the Grand Marshals for the Burdick Labor Day Parade on Monday. This year’s theme for the Burdick Labor Day celebration was “Sunny Days on the Santa Fe Trail” and featured a day of races, raffles, ice cream and more.
The inaugural DAR Madonna Trudge was held Saturday, September 4. The threat of 100% rain no doubt kept many away but the contestants, judges and onlookers enjoyed the day with the skies clearing before the trudge. The trudge, which was not a race, was six blocks long.
