A summary of Tuesday’s Morris County Commission meeting included a report that chip seal work was completed on Dunlap Rd., 2600 Rd., Skiddy Rd. and the annual one mile of White City streets.
Erin Wiard Weisman Honored In Wyoming

Erie Wiard Weisman, formerly of Council Grove and a 1992 graduate of Council Grove High School, will become in September the president-elect of the Wyoming State Bar. She currently serves as vice president. In September 2024, she will ascend to the presidency. Weisman is currently Teton County Wyoming’s Attorney and Prosecuting Attorney. She became the first female county attorney in Teton County. Weisman’s parents are Steve Wiard and Debi Lifcher, both formerly of Council Grove.
TinaRae Scott Elected To National School Board Assoc.

TinaRae Scott, of Council Grove, is putting on another public education leadership hat — this time on the national level. She has been elected to the national committee of the National School Board Association.
