City Of Council Grove Raises Mill Levy 10%, Lowers Speed Limit On N 8th To 15 MPH
The Council Grove City Council conducted two meetings last night. One was to discuss the city’s intention to exceed the revenue neutral rate by 10%. The other meeting was its regular first of the month meeting.

Student of the Week
This week’s student of the week at Council Grove Elementary School is Kaylee Bachura. She is 8-years-old and a student in Stantanna Stewart’s third grade class. Kaylee’s interests are swimming, drawing and playing with friends. Her favorite non-school thing to do is art. “I like being with my cows, peacocks, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats and dogs.”
