Friday and Saturday, November 24 and 25, sets a holiday tone for area residents as Chase County Country Christmas begins. From 6-8 p.m. on Friday, is a Kids’ Night Before Christmas Out event. There will be the lighting of the Antique Caboose in Strong City, followed by a free movie and fun at the Historic Depot. All ages are welcome.
In a home basketball game Monday night, the Council Grove Junior High Girls won all three of its games against Central Heights. The A team won 24-20, the B team won its game 23-18 and the C team was victorious with a 27-8 game.
