100-YEAR TIME CAPSULES BURIED -- On Tuesday, in-between storms, the two 100-year 36” long time capsules were buried near the Council Oak pavilion. A bronze marker will be added to mark the spot for future generations. Setting the capsules (right photo) is the capsule coordinator and councilman Nathan Adams. After placing the capsules, the city crews promptly arrived and closed the 2 1/2’ hole before the next storm.
