(AP)--Patrick Mahomes will be the old man among the starting quarterbacks in the NFL conference title games. The 27-year-old All-Pro for Kansas City is the oldest member of one of the youngest groups of starting quarterbacks to make it to this round.
Annual All School CGHS And USD 417 Reunion To Be Held May 27
The all CGHS/USD 417 Reunion will be held Saturday, May 27 at the Morris County 4H Building. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. for registration and fellowship time. Special recognition will be given to classes whose graduation date is divisible by 5, such 55 years, 50 years, 40 years, 25 years, 10 years, 5 years, etc.

The 2023 Council Grove Junior High Spelling Bee was held Wednesday afternoon at the Council Grove JR/SR High School Auditorium. Participants went 10 rounds and had 2 tiebreakers to determine winners.
Seeking Veterans For Monthly Coffee
Together With Veterans and Morris County is launching a Veterans Coffee to be held monthly. The first one is scheduled for 9 a.m., February 1 at the CG Rec and Event Center (old armory), 1018, Old Hwy 56, Council Grove.
