Residents have two opportunities to view the accomplishments of our area’s youth as both the Morris County Fair and Chase County Fairs begin this weekend.
After a major increase in changeof- address fraud nationwide, the U. S. Postal Service made changes July 9, 2023, that affects even those changing addresses locally. USPS offices will offer “enhanced in-person change-of-address transactions” in which customers can present an ID to verify it’s really them.
The USD 417 Board of Education held a Special Meeting July 18 at the District Office. All board members signed a Waiver of Notice, as the meeting was called on short notice.
The National Park Foundation reports that the National Park System spans more than 84 million acres and encompasses 424 sites and units in the United States. In Canada, there are 37 national parks and 10 national park reserves, protecting roughly 336,343 square kilometers of land.
