GONE FISHIN’ -- Kevin Burnett, right, formerly of Council Grove and now of Cape Fair, MO, and partner Chris Martin, left, of Nixa, MO, placed third in the Bass Pro Open Championship at Table Rock Lake on November 21. They won a $50,000 prize. First prize was $1 million dollars and a new truck. Kevin and Chris have won over $100,000 and a new boat over the last six years. The tournament was televised on NBC on December 4. Burnett is the brother of local residents Skeeter Kraus and Dale Burnett.
