The Council Grove City Council met Tuesday night for its first meeting of December. Councilors Mark Berner and Larry Siegrist were absent. Newly elected councilor Nathan Adams was present in the chamber.
Herington Woman Killed In Semi-Car Collision
The Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log indicates that around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, emergency crews were called to the area of Highway 77 and 190th St. in Marion County with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.
DRIVES IN FOR TWO
Brycen Palmquist, the top scorer in the Braves game against Silver Lake on Tuesday, was captured driving in for two points of his 22 point total. The Braves lost the game 49-59.
CG Braves Lose To Silver Lake 59-49
The Silver Lake Eagles lost to the Council Grove High School Braves back in December of 2022, but they they didn’t allow the Braves the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Silver Lake walked away with a 59-49 win over the Braves.
