Council Grove Junior High School has announced that 66 students will be promoted to Council Grove High School in the fall. The 8th Grade Promotion and Awards ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday in Braves Gym at Council Grove Junior-Senior High School.
Members of the Class of 2022 at Council Grove High School have been awarded over $200,000 in scholarships. The scholarship announcements were made on Wednesday morning during the Senior Awards Assembly.
Freshman golfer Drew Buchman will head to the 3A State Golf Tournament at Salina’s Municipal Golf Course on Monday. Buchman’s tee time is scheduled for 9:50 a.m. On Monday, Buchman shot an 81 at the regional tournament to take fifth place. Buchman has had three first place finishes in tournaments this season and three top five finishes. Go Braves!
Fifty-seven seniors are candidates for diplomas during the Council Grove High School Commencement ceremony being held at 3 p.m., Sunday at the Braves Gym.
