Lexinet Corporation, of Council Grove, has announced that applications are now available for the annual $2,000 scholarship the company provides to a Council Grove High School graduate who is pursuing a career in business or information technology.
Several area churches have announced services and activities taking place during Holy Week, before Easter which is March 31.

If you know a youngster who is interested in learning about turkey hunting, keep reading. This spring will mark the 21st year of the Council Grove Youth Turkey Hunt. The Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks (KDWP), in cooperation with the Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Duke Bratton and Le-Roy Buchman families, will host a workshop and special turkey hunt on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
