After many years of holding the all-school reunion on Memorial Day weekend, the USD 417 Reunion committee decided to try a different weekend this year, as younger alumni were saying the holiday weekend is a busy one for them.

Katharyn Roe-Blythe, DDS will be joining the Herington office of Bowen Family Dentistry this sum Katharyn graduated May 12, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, earning her doctorate in General Dentistry. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. Dr. Roe-Blythe is a 2016 graduate of Herington High School, and a December 2019 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Nutritional Sciences.

All former Council Grove Swim Club members and the club’s fans will be happy to hear that Council Grove once again has a competitive swim team. Their private FB page describes them as a competitive swim team that knows how to have fun!
