Braves Win Thrilling Game In Overtime Against Hillsboro

This is how you would describe what the Boys Council Grove Varsity basketball team looked like on Tuesday evening in the Braves Gym as Coach Bruce Hula was delivered a thrilling 52 51 win over Hillsboro, in overtime, for an early Christmas present from his team. Hula, whose team now sits at 3 - 3 on the season, said after the game, “Our energy and effort were good the entire evening and it was a fun high school basketball game to watch and be a part of! We were out of sync on both ends of the floor from the get-go, but credit the kids for sticking to it and making plays.”
