The inaugural DAR Madonna Trudge was held Saturday, September 4. The threat of 100% rain no doubt kept many away but the contestants, judges and onlookers enjoyed the day with the skies clearing before the trudge. The trudge, which was not a race, was six blocks long.

The Council Grove Braves Cross Country team was in action on Thursday afternoon at Mission Valley, coming away with several medals, personal records and a first place finish for the boy’s team.
