The Council Grove Republican recently had the privilege of speaking with Rick Penner of Viking Industrial Painting, the company from Nebraska that is restoring the Council Grove water tower.

Bob and Christy Alexander, owners of Alexander ArtWorks in Council Grove will be celebrating 15 years in business next month. They officially opened during Washunga Days in 2008. In addition, I understand that Christy is entering a new decade of her life and will be celebrating a big birthday in June.
