At last week’s Chase County Commissioners meeting, EMS Director Scott Harris reported that he is focused on increasing staffing. State statue 65-6135 states that ambulance service shall be offered 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Harris said his guys are tired and he wants to focus on increasing staffing. Morris County Clerk Chelsey Schmidt has announced the 2023 candidate filings. There will be no primary runoff this year.
The Council Grove Arts Council has announced the cast for the 2023 summer musical, Matilda, Jr. Samantha Davis, director, said, “This is such a fun show full of hard working kids with big personalities. I cannot wait for Council Grove to see the final product because I know it’s going to be a blast!”
