WELDING INVITATIONAL -- Council Grove FFA competed at the Paola Welding Invitational on December 1. The contest included four types of skill welds and a test. The Senior team was 3rd, with Caleb Muncy placing 7th and Hunter Lowmaster placing 10th individually. The B team was 1st with Adam Brooks winning the division individually. Additionally, Kahle Jones was 2nd and Jace Goodman was 4th in the B division. TOPEKA AP) — Kansas will receive nearly $27.6 million from a legal settlement with the company that manages prescription costs for its Medicaid program, after an investigation into whether the company had overcharged the state, Attorney General Derek Schmidt announced Monday.
