VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT -- Marsha Autrey has been selected by CASA of the Eighth Judicial District for their volunteer spotlight, calling Autrey a crucial piece of their program due to her caring nature and background in education and saying, “She is just trying to make a difficult situation better for the kids.” CASA volunteers are Court Appointed Special Advocates, who help abused, neglected or trafficked children in their local communities. HULA HOOPS -- Koen Hula goes up for a shot on Friday night during the Braves’ game against West Franklin. Hula would score 14 points on the night, as well as grabbing 11 rebounds, eight assists, six steals and two drawn charges. The Braves would beat West Franklin 69-53 to open their season. The team will take on Silver Lake on Tuesday.
