Former Council Grove pioneer Goodson McDaniel Simcock has been posthumously inducted into the Santa Fe Trail Association Hall of Fame. He was inducted at the 2023 Satna Fe Trail Association Symposium last month in Independence, Missouri. A Kansas government computer network incident that occurred Thursday, October 12, has caused an interruption of electronic filings and payments in all the state’s appellate courts and district courts except for populous Johnson County. This means that related court computer systems are “down” until further notice.
