The Morris County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 7:41 a.m., Tuesday reporting a three-vehicle crash near 875 Rd. and K177.
Lakoddah Downes of the Flint Hills 4-H Club and Trinadee Fetters of the Neosho Valley 4-H Club received the Kansas 4-H Key Award at the annual fall Achievement Banquet on November 18.
Kansans can go to KSPlates.kansas. gov to vote for their favorite plate among five designs created by Mammoth Creative Co., a Kansas-based marketing firm, in partnership with Kansas Tourism. Voting will end at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 15.
The Council Grove Senior Center, 227 W. Main St., Council Grove is hosting a holiday party 5-8 p.m., Saturday, December 16. Enjoy a bean and soup supper for a $5 donation, followed by some fun rivalry and entertaining Holiday Bingo with friends. Bingo cards will be $5, with a limit of 3 allowed. Prizes include Fanestil Party Time hams and other prizes donate by local merchants.
