Legislatures Inform And Answer Questions At Forum
On Saturday, an informative legislative forum was attended by 30+ people and held at The Pearl in Alta Vista. District 51 State Representative Kenny Titus, District 20 State Senator Brenda Dietrich and 68 District Representative Nate Butler, spent about an hour talking about the different bills that were being worked on in the Kansas Legislature and then spent another hour answering questions from those in attendance.
Brenah Cannon Qualifies For State Wrestling Tourney
Council Grove High School sophomore Brenah Cannon finished second at the 4321A Girls Regional Wrestling Tournament Saturday in Sabetha to advance as CG’s lone qualifier to the KSHSAA State Tournament in Salina on February 22.
Braves C Team Places Second In Tourney
The Council Grove High School C team boys finished 2nd in the Wamego Freshmen Tournament Saturday. Council Grove beat Salina South 48-37 and then stumbled 2363 in its game against Rock Creek.
