The Morris County Commissioner meeting was called to order on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Commissioners Wayne Kohler and David L. Fox were present. Bill Kassebaum, County Counselor and Chelsey Schmidt, County Clerk were present.
The Lady Braves golf team competed Thursday at an invitational meet in Rossville. Jefferson West, Osage City, St. Mary’s and Silver Lake were also in attendance.
The JH Braves football team won against Olpe Thursday night, 12-0 in an upset. Olpe is a high-power offense that has been averaging 55.6 points per game in 8-man competition. Their defense is tough and with the exception of an interception that was returned for a touchdown, they have not been scored on all year.
The Council Grove Braves Cross Country teams traveled to Osage City for an invitational on Thursday and enjoyed a day of breaking many of their personal records.
