Americorps Is Serving At White Memorial Camp And Local Community

Every year Americorps enrolls 200,000 individuals to serve non-profit organizations making a difference in communities across the United States. White Memorial Camp is a benefactor of an Americorps team that has been stationed at the camp for three weeks and will work to improve and update the camp’s facilities through May.

Braves Track & Field Excel In Herington

The Council Grove High School Braves track and field team claimed victory at the Steve Hermann Invitational in Herington on Thursday, taking first place in the boys’ division. Meanwhile, Council Grove’s girls secured a commendable thirdplace finish. Both teams battled through injuries and illness. Despite these challenges, athletes from both squads delivered impressive individual performances.
