Morris County Commissioners Opt For Combo Self-Funding And BC/BS
Below are the approved minutes of the July 23, Morris County Commission. To clarify about the county’s decision to self-fund its health insurance to a cap of $25,000, Morris County Clerk said, “The proposed budget that is approved is budgeting for the self-funding option. The renewal contract from BCBS for the self-funding plan has not been provided from BCBS yet. So there has been no approval or action taken for the BCBS plan.”
‘24 Premium Livestock Auction Results Sales Up Over ‘23
The Morris County Fair Premium Livestock Auction was held Monday, July 29. The Cookie Jar Auction was handled at the same time. The results indicate increased sales, when compared with those in 2023. The 2024 total sales were $67,700, which is an increase of $3,150 over the 2023 sales of $64,550.
