Yesterday’s Republican Primary was a hotly contested one that decided November candidates in the general election in county, state and national offices. Unofficial results are noted below.
The Council Grove City Council met for its first meeting of August on Tuesday evening. Councilor Mark Berner was absent due to being outof- town. Appropriations in the amount of $136,302.46 were approved in the consent agenda. Also approved in the consent agenda were minutes from the previous meeting and two City Lake cabin lease transfers. One was for R-3, which is also known as 164 East Shore Drive, Council Grove, and was transferred from Mary R Spooner to Prime Rentals USA, LLC, Daniel Riccomini agent. City Lake lot I-1, which is also known as 144 Highview Point, was transferred from Patrick L. Close and Diane M. Close to Michael Lee Hoppock and Polly Ann Hoppock of Salina.
