The Morris County Commissioner meeting was called to order on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 9 a.m. Commissioners David Fox, Jim Barber and Wayne Kohler were present. Bill Kassebaum, County Counselor, and Chelsey Schmidt, County Clerk, were present.
On Wednesday, Girl Scout Troop 30085 presented Girls Scout Cookie donations to Morris County Care and Share.
The Apothecary, Grove Gardens and the Council Grove Republican are offering drawings for free admission and feature events at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. No purchase is necessary.
Collin Sexton, Deputy KU Athletics Director and Chief Strategy Officer was in Council Grove Wednesday and shared KU and league updates with the Council Grove Rotary Club.
