Puckett Farms exhibited the Champion Milking Alpine Goat at the 2024 Kansas State Fair. Puckett Farms also had the 1st place Breeders Trio of Alpine Milking Does.
On Friday, Sept. 20, at approximately 7:52 p.m., Officers with the Council Grove Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Wood Street in Council Grove.
Last week two representatives of Diversicare, Angela Frohlich, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Ashley McKnight, Business Office Manager and Human Resource Coordinator, shared about the company’s offerings at the 36 Hour-A-Day support group.
The Council Grove Braves cross country team came home from the Karr Classic last Thursday with a pair of silver medals. Jadyn Picolet grabbed second in the varsity boys race sneaking past Caleb Durst of Lebo down the stretch just before crossing the finish line and Brayden Jarvis nabbed the silver in the 8th grade boys division while finishing 9th overall.
On Thursday, September 19, the Junior High Lady Braves hosted the Chase County Junior High Lady Bulldogs in a series of hard-fought volleyball games. Both teams put up a strong fight, but Chase County came out on top across most matchups.
