By the time I was going to write the article, it was nearly December, and I was afraid it was too late in the season for the article to be relevant, so I am including her article now.
A Meet and Greet your Kansas House and Senate Republican Candidate will be held 9-10 a.m., on Saturday, September 28, at 615 E. Main St., in Dwight.
The 2024 Alta Vista Mud Run will be held Saturday on the corner of Hwy 4 and Main Street. The gates open at 9 a.m., with the race to start at 1 p.m. Registration will close at 12 noon.
Sethfest is coming up on the second Saturday in October. The event is named in honor of local historical celebrity Seth Hayes. It is moving away from the Riverwalk Amphitheatre to Downtown Mainstreet. October 12 will be filled with activities celebrating history, the arts, and community. For this year’s event, the Community Arts Council of Council Grove has partnered with downtown businesses to create a phenomenal schedule. Activities are free and open to the public.
