On October 23, Andrea Timm, Council Grove, reported to the Morris County Sheriff’s Department that a deer struck the driver’s side of her 2019 Santa Fe on K Avenue, near the 1100 Rd intersection.
The Heart of the Flint Hills Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail will hold its annual meeting and meal on November 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Schuyler Annex located at 218 West Main Street, in Burlingame.
The Morris County Historical Society (MCHS) has launched an ambitious, multi-year initiative to revitalize the grounds of the Post Office Oak Museum in Council Grove. This landmark project, titled the Santa Fe Trail Rendezvous Point, aims to honor the region’s rich history as a critical meeting place on the Santa Fe Trail and to breathe new life into a significant part of the community’s heritage.

All of our nation’s public health systems and communities must work collectively to reduce suicide rates using the best available information and practices, suited to their individual needs, and those of their populace. Coordinated efforts at the federal, state, and local levels are key to suicide prevention.
