Residents of Council Grove and the Flint Hills area will have a frontrow seat to a total lunar eclipse in the early hours of March 14, 2025. This rare occurrence will provide skywatchers with a breathtaking view of the Moon turning a deep red hue—a phenomenon often called a “Blood Moon.”
The Council Grove City Council agenda has been announced for the March 4, meeting. It will be at 5:30 p.m., at City Hall.
The 2025 Morris County Spelling Bee was held Wednesday afternoon in the Council Grove Jr/Sr High School Auditorium. Participants went 8 rounds and 51 words to determine a winner.
