The Apothecary joins peers in rally
On Wednesday, February 5, a significant movement will sweep through Kansas as independent pharmacies like The Apothecary in Council Grove shut their doors for one day. This closure is not a sign of defeat but a strategic call to action. Pharmacists like Jake Dugan will head to Topeka, joining more than 250 of his peers in a historic rally at the Kansas legislature. Their mission is to challenge the oppressive practices of Big Pharma and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) that threaten the very fabric of local healthcare.
