The Board of Directors of the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program has announced the completion of coursework and graduation of twenty-six participants of the 202425 program year. Ceremonies were completed at the Belltower in Eskridge.
The 2025-2027 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) for Morris and Chase Counties is built around three community-identified priority health issues: Food and Nutrition, Youth and Children, and Healthcare. These priorities emerged from the 2024 Community Health Assessment (CHA), extensive community input, and two key planning workshops held in October 2024. The CHIP is a strategic roadmap designed to improve health outcomes and quality of life for residents over the next three years.
The Council Grove High School Lady Braves traveled to Burlingame and faced a tough Monday night of basketball, losing to the Burlingame Lady Bearcats 45-23.
