(KVOE) Aron Dody begins his new duties as Chase County’s superintendent of schools July 1, and the Chase County High School graduate says he wants to end his education career in that position.
Council Grove placed eight qualifiers in the KSHSAA 321A State Wrestling Tournament set for Hays next weekend, and the Braves finished second as a team Saturday when CG hosted the 321A Regional in Braves Gym.
A bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin Monday, Feb. 24, on 130th Road in Chase County. The bridge is located over the Cottonwood River, about 1 mile west of Cedar Point.
Kori and Kevin Bryant, Manhattan, are the proud parents of Karter James born on Tuesday February 18, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. Karter weighed 9lbs, 2oz and was 21” long.
Hutchinson Community College Jordyn Picolet earned a second national qualification and did so with a school-record performance to lead the Hutchinson Community College women’s track and field team at the Ichabod Invitational on Saturday at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility.
