CG powerlifters make history at Conway Springs meet

USD 417 Powerlifting coach Matt Wilkens was busy providing data about the success of the Council Grove team at its meet in Conway Springs on Saturday. Council Grove’s 21 competitors were part of the 399 overall contestants from 29 schools (1-6a) including Maize, Goddard (last year’s men’s champions), Wichita East, and Wichita West. Other smaller and familiar schools that were there were Chapman, Hillsboro, Halstead, and Northern Heights.
CGJH Braves wrestlers compete in final meet at Chase County
