Public, merchants asked to participate in time capsules
Council Grove City Counselor Nathan Adams is leading the time capsule project scheduled to be buried on the city’s 200th anniversary, August 10, 2025. Adams told the Council Grove Republican that each capsule will be a sealed PVC pipe measuring 6 inches in diameter and 3 feet in length. Unlike past efforts, the use of PVC will prevent water damage—adding another layer of protection, even though the city’s reservoir now helps guard against flooding.
