Veterans Day is tomorrow, November 11 but our Veterans Day edition is today. Due to the mail holiday and the weekend, most of our mail subscribers will not receive their Friday paper until Monday. - The Council Grove Parade of Lights needs volunteers! The Council Grove Area Trade & Tourism Association is looking for a group of volunteers to help with this years event. Please email Zoey at zoey@councilgrove. com or call the office at 620.767.5413 by Monday, November 14, if you can help. - Wednesday’s Republican football contest had an error…the #16 game piece should read Kansas State at West Virginia instead of Kansas at West Virginia. The answer will be counted correctly whichever team you choose. - The CG Senior Center will be closed Mon-Tues, Nov. 14 and 15 for dining in but lunches will be available for carry out or delivery.
