GMDC Annual Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Results

The Greater Morris County Development Corporation (GMDC), in association with the Network Kansas E-Community Partnership, held its 3rd Annual Morris County Youth Entrepreneurship Competition on March 7, 2023, in White City as part of the 2022-2023 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) series. All Morris County students in grades 6-12 were invited, and encouraged, to participate. The goal of the competition was to expose Kansas middle school and high school students to entrepreneurship and business plans that could suit the needs of the communities they live in and beyond.

Arts Council Seeking Mural Designer, Artist For Mural

The Community Arts Council of Council Grove, in partnership with Dee Gieswein of Gieswein Insurance, is bringing a mural to Council Grove. The mural committee is currently seeking a design and lead artist for the upcoming project.
