GMDC To Receive $408,360 For Low-Income Housing Improvements

The 2023 Housing Summit, sponsored by Greater Morris County Development Corporation, was held at the Dealership Building, Thursday evening. The guest presenter was Ryan Vincent, Executive Director of Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC). KHRC, a subsidiary corporation of Kansas Development Finance Authority, which is a self-supporting, public corporation that administers programs to help Kansans access the safe, affordable housing they need and the dignity they deserve.

Wilsey Rural High School Annual Reunion

Wilsey Rural High School alumni meeting was held at the Wilsey Christian Church Wolgast Fellowship Room on Sunday May 28th with 81 alumni and guests in attendance. The school closed in 1968 to merge with USD 417.

USD 417 And Aron Dody Terminate Relationship

There were two special meetings of the USD 417 Board of Education this week, one Monday and one Tuesday. No one who is normally contacted about such meetings was informed about the meetings, including the Council Grove Republican.
