At the Tuesday, January 30, Morris County Commissioners meeting, discussion occurred regarding the State of Disaster Emergence Proclamation Governor Laura Kelly issued on January 8, 2024, due to the severe weather, heavy snowfall, excessive winds, low temperatures and windchills the state experienced between January 7 – January 21, 2024. The road and bridge department will begin submitting paperwork to possibly qualify for FEMA reimbursement funding.
