The East Central Kansas Model T Ford will meet at 6:30 p.m., July 11, in the conference room of the Burlington Library. The library is located on Hwy. 75. Pizza will be served and members are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share with the meal which will be eaten before the meeting.

What a treat we will have on Monday, July 8, when the 35th Infantry Division Band of the Kansas Army National Guard performs at a free concert at the Neosho Riverwalk Amphitheater. The fun starts at 7 p.m. when the Flint Hills Community Band takes the stage for 30 minutes, preceding the performance of the headliner. The 35th Infantry Division Band will boast a familiar face, that of trumpeter Todd Hollis, who was raised in Council Grove and graduated in the Class of 1985.
