FREE CHRISTMAS DINNER -- Over 65 people dined in at First Baptist Church on Christmas Day
The First Baptist Church, Council Grove, was busy blessing the community on Christmas Sunday as its congregation prepared, served and executed dine-in, carry-out and delivered meals. Over 280 meals were served, with 145+ of those being delivered to 24 locations, 70+ were take out and 65+ dined in the church fellowship hall. There were 6 vehicles/teams involved with the distribution of the delivered meals. In addition to meals being delivered to residential homes and apartment complexes, meals were sent to first responder facilities including the sheriff’s office, the Morris Co. Hospital and EMT facility, Diversicare and businesses open to the public on Christmas Day.
