The Ron Mayo Football Field in Cottonwood Falls has a new look to start the upcoming season. USD 284 received over $67,000 dollars in grant funding to complete dirt work, install a sprinkler system, and install Bermuda sod.
The Council Grove High School Braves football team is entering the season with high expectations, bolstered by nine returning full-time starters on both sides of the ball.
Morris County Democrats will be having an Open House on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 4-6 p.m. at their office located at 501 E Main in Council Grove. Refreshments will be served.
