Les Vilda, In His 1923 Model T, Passes Through Council Grove

Les Vilda, of Wilber, NE, is attempting to drive the Santa Fe Trail from Franklin, MO to Santa Fe, NM in his 1923 Ford Model T. He arrived in Council Grove late Wednesday and left mid-morning Thursday, after making a stop at the Kaw Mission, Last Chance Store, Madonna of the Trail Statue and the Council Grove Republican. The Madonna of the Trail was the youngest of the four organizations.
