Delavan . . . The Locals Called It Rex Or Kingman
The Council Grove Republican thanks posthumously Mrs. Alfred Yakle, more commonly known as Bernice or Bernie Yakle, who penned this insightful and amazing history of Delavan. Bernice had no children and died on June 20, 2004 at the age of 90, but she made sure that a few others had copies of Delavan’s history. This delightful and edited read was provided to us by Dean and Marilyn Miller, Delavan.
