The Morris County Hospitla Auxiliary hosted the annual Valentine’s Heart Healthy Blood Drive on Monday, February 3, with 67 volunteer donors (two first-time donors), yielding a collection of 60 blood units.
The Morris County Commissioner meeting was called to order on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Commissioners Jim Barber, David Fox and Wayne Kohler were present. Chelsey Schmidt, County Clerk, and Bill Kassebaum, County Counselor, were present.

Residents of Council Grove and the Flint Hills are known for a lot of unusual endeavors that make us unique. Council Grove has just added a new one at 121 Liberty St., north of Dollar General.
After flying high against Marion last Friday, the Council Grove High School Braves came back down to earth, taking a blow against the Rock Creek Mustangs on Tuesday by falling 79-44. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4921.
