Braves Blank Osage City, Fall to Silver Lake in Semifinal

The Council Grove Braves opened postseason play with a commanding 9-0 win over Osage City on Wednesday evening at the Class 3A Regional Baseball Tournament at Silver Lake, powered by a five-run sec ond inning. Luke Stewart sparked the offensive burst with a triple that brought in one run. Konner Farr added a groundout RBI, and Maxton Villalobos's fielder's choice brought in another. Braun Frye followed with an RBI single, and AJ Rocha capped the inning with a run-scoring groundout.
