Grove Gardens celebrates with annual Patio Party
The community is invited to gather at Grove Gardens, 401 W. Main, this Saturday, October 11, for one of Council Grove’s favorite fall traditions, the annual Patio Party. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and promises an afternoon filled with food, music, shopping, and seasonal cheer.
Native American artist to present Kaw Council Lecture
The October 12th Kaw Mission Council Lecture Series will be “Igiha Mozho” (Always the Land) presented by Native American Artist Chris Pappan. The program will start at 2 p.m., in The Dealership Building located at 318 West Main Street, Council Grove.

Hudson Hartman wins Football Contest
Football fans across the area enjoyed another exciting week of competition in the Council Grove Republican’s Pigskin Pick ’Em contest, which featured 17 games from October 2–6. Contestants faced a challenging lineup that mixed NFL and college matchups, leading to plenty of surprises on the scoreboard.
