Kathy Miller says she likes to keep her hands busy. It’s a good thing, too, because she is always using them to whip up something. From crocheted afghans or name pieces to growing and canning vegetables to mixing up items ranging from hot mustard, jams and apple butter to pickled beets, jalapenos and okra, Kathy has something to suit just about everyone’s taste. In the summer, her driveway tent sees frequent traffic, with people stopping by at all times of the day to pick up fresh vegetables or a jar of salsa.
